ALYSSA VILLASENOR
AERIAL TEACHER
Alyssa Villasenor is a native of Moorpark, California. She started dancing at the age of 2 at local dance studios, including Bobbies School of Performing Arts. Until the age of 14, she danced competitively while studying Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Modern. Throughout her years at Moorpark High School, Alyssa was a member of the Varsity Dance Team.
Her love and passion for aerial began the age of 12 when she started taking aerial classes at Talent Lab. Since then, Alyssa has been very fortunate to train in Aerial Arts under Brenda Hamilton, Nikki Blakeslee, Terry Beeman and Mathieu Leopold. In 2008, she joined Cirque en L’air, a group of elite aerialists and had the opportunity to train with artists from Cirque Du Soleil in Las Vegas. In 2011, Alyssa became an intern working with the instructors at Talent Lab. After her internship, she joined Talent Lab’s roster where she was able to mentor and develop aerialists in different levels and age groups. She also had the opportunity to teach three different Aerial companies. To this day, Alyssa continues to teach, train, and perform Aerial. She is so excited to share her love and passion with every student who comes to Bobbies.
